The Radiology Life Care Course (AVR) is promoted by the Brazilian College of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging (CBR) and is intended for physicians working in the area. The course syllabus includes theoretical and practical classes, with training for access to the airways (mask and ambu ventilation, orotracheal intubation and cricothyroidostomy), cardiovascular resuscitation (external cardiac massage, electrical cardioversion and drug use during cardiac arrest). guidance in situations where there is a risk of imminent death (venous access and manipulation of the multi-trauma patient). Participants also attend lectures on contrast (contrast media characteristics, adverse reactions, risk factors and prevention) and learn a protocol for treatment of adverse reactions to contrast media.

The course will provide students with a certificate of sufficiency (evaluation by the monitors during practical classes and written test) at the end of the course. The physician not approved in the practical evaluation should repeat the course. If you do not obtain the minimum mark alone in the written test, you can repeat it on a date to be scheduled in due course.
