Annual Accreditation and Accreditation
The CBR Commission for Teaching, Improvement and Medical Residency informs that since 2018 the new accreditations and / or the increase of vacancies of training programs in Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging are canceled. This is due to the start of the review process of the RDDI training models, the relationship with the National Medical Residency Commission (CNRM) and the MEC residency programs. At this time, we recommend that those interested in establishing RDDI training programs seek accreditation with MEC.
Accreditation for Ultrasound training programs and Fellowship/Level 4.

ANNUAL ACCREDITATION AND ACCREDITATION
In order to simplify communication and follow-up of Radiology and Imaging Diagnostic, Ultrasound and Level 4 Training Programs, the Brazilian College of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging (CBR) developed, from its Teaching Commission, Improvement and Residence (CEAR), an electronic platform that will bring numerous improvements.
By being able to manage training services data, it will be possible to improve the interaction between the coordinators and CEAR, as well as providing knowledge of the programs to the candidates interested in taking them.
As previously informed through the Accreditation Standards posted on our site, we will charge, services accredited exclusively by CBR (improvement courses), an annual fee. This fee is intended to assist in the costing of part of the inspection, secretarial and document processing expenses relating to further training courses. Services in public institutions (federal, state and municipal, in addition to services accredited by MEC) are exempt from this fee.
Check out the rules:
- Deadline for annual recertification - until 30/04/2019.
- Deadline for accreditation of new accreditations - until 06/30/2019.
The electronic form is available on the CBR portal (click here to be directed) to review and update all Service data and make the annual fee payment of $ 500 for honoring enrolled in a CBR-accredited vacancy. click here and check the standards for this process.
New Residents / Improvements - Level 1 must register within March 1st to 30th on the CBR website in the “Resident Registration - Level 1” area.
Residents / Improvements - Level 2 and 3 should update their registration directly on the CBR portal in the “Member Space” within March 1st to 30th.
Service Partner Institutions
These are all clinics and / or hospitals in which the activities of the training program coordinated by the Service are carried out.
All data from the partner institutions of the Service (Company Name, CNPJ, full address, clinical staff and structure) must be informed. In order to improve the whole process, this field, which is not required at this time, will be required in the next update.
Check the situation of the clinical staff of the Service
Please note that, according to accreditation standards, it is mandatory that the clinical staff of the Service be 100% associated with the CBR and be in compliance.
Services accredited exclusively by MEC
Services with programs exclusively accredited by MEC must also register on the electronic platform, as this will facilitate communication with the CBR and disclosure of residents' performance on annual tests. There will be no charge of the $ 500 fee for these Services.
We count on your collaboration and reiterate our total willingness for further clarification.
