The CBR, due to an agreement signed with the AMB, has the legally guaranteed prerogative, eventually in conjunction with other associations, to confer the following specialist titles and certificates in the area of expertise:<\/p>\n

General Ultrasound<\/p>\n
Ultrasonography in Gynecology and Obstetrics<\/p>\n
Mammography<\/p>\n
Vascular ultrasound with Doppler<\/p>\n
bone densitometry<\/p>\n
diagnostic neuroradiology<\/p>\n
therapeutic neuroradiology<\/p>\n
Interventional Radiology and Angioradiology<\/p>\n
Thus, only the CBR has the legitimacy to grant and issue the specialist titles or certificates in the area of expertise mentioned above, according to the rules of the Brazilian Medical Association.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, according to Article 115 of the Code of Medical Ethics, physicians are prohibited from \u201cannouncing scientific titles that they cannot prove and a specialty or area of expertise for which they are not qualified and registered with the Regional Council of Medicine.\u201d.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
