An important CBR initiative, the \u201cVisiting Professor CBR\u201d Program, launched in September 2018 during the celebrations of the entity\u2019s 70th anniversary, had its first edition last Friday (15th), in the city of Recife. The objective of the program is to promote the exchange of knowledge and experiences from the visit of a professor to educational activities in residency and improvement programs throughout Brazil.<\/p>\n

Prof. doctor Manoel Rocha, from the Department of Radiology and Oncology at the Faculty of Medicine of USP, visited the Hospital da Restaura\u00e7\u00e3o, in the capital of Pernambuco. With theoretical classes and case discussions, its program addressed topics such as pancreatic adenocarcinoma, pancreatic cystic lesions, cystic lesions of the biliary tract and criteria for resectability of cholangiocarcinomas.<\/p>\n

On Friday (22), Prof. doctor Manoel Rocha will be in Macei\u00f3 (AL), at Arthur Ramos Hospital, for another visit through the \u201cVisiting Professor CBR\u201d program.<\/p>\n

Radiologists interested in becoming a \u201cCBR Visiting Professor\u201d must submit their application, which will be analyzed by a specific commission. If approved, he will become part of a bank of professors. It is important to remember that to apply for \u201cVisiting Professor CBR\u201d the radiologist must be a member of the College.<\/p>\n

The interested residency and improvement programs must register, while the affiliated societies will endorse, together with the CBR, the candidacy of the residency and improvement program. The regulations and registration forms are available on the CBR website.<\/p>\n
