Highlight in 2019, the \u201cVisiting Professor CBR\u201d Program, launched last year during the celebrations of the entity\u2019s 70th anniversary, is one of the most important educational initiatives of CBR and aims to promote the exchange of knowledge and experiences from the visit of a teacher for educational activities in residency and improvement programs throughout Brazil.<\/p>\n
The year's program will end with the 7th edition, which will be held in the city of Bras\u00edlia (DF), on December 13th. The CBR Visiting Professor will be Dr. Francisco Abaet\u00e9 das Chagas Neto, who will be at the Voxel Institute for Image Diagnosis service.<\/p>\n
Find out how the CBR Visiting Professor works:<\/strong><\/p>\n Radiologist colleagues interested in becoming a \u201cCBR Visiting Professor\u201d must submit their application, which will be analyzed by a specific committee. If approved, he will become part of a bank of professors. To apply for \u201cCBR Visiting Professor\u201d the radiologist must be a member of the College.<\/p>\n Registration of residency and improvement programs<\/strong><\/p>\n The residency and improvement programs must register. Affiliated societies are responsible for endorsing, together with the CBR, the application for the residency and improvement program. The CBR will then analyze in its bank of professors which professional is the most suitable, acting as an intermediary between the affiliated society, the residency and improvement program and the professor.<\/p>\n Schedule<\/strong><\/p>\n The \u201cVisiting Professor CBR\u201d will arrive in the city on a Thursday night to, on Friday, promote his class (debates on clinical cases and hands on<\/em>) during all day long. It is worth remembering that this activity will be developed with the structure of the place, which will provide learning based on the reality of the service.
