It was with great sadness that the Brazilian College of Radiology and Image Diagnosis (CBR) received the news of the death of Dr. Edison de Barros e Silva, on Saturday (12\/05) due to complications from COVID-19<\/p>\n
doctor Edison was president of the SRPE from 1999 to 2001, he was a preceptor physician at the IMIP Imaging Service and a master's degree from the Federal University of Pernambuco. In an article written by him for the CBR Bulletin (July\/2020 edition) he highlighted: \u201cFrom an early age, Medicine found me, perhaps because of the opportunity it would provide me to help people. I have always been concerned about the welfare of others.\u201d<\/p>\n
The CBR, on behalf of Brazilian Radiology, expresses solidarity and its most sincere condolences to the family and friends of Dr. Edison.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
