The World Imaging Congress (BIR) will take place between February 24th and 25th<\/strong>, in a fully online event. One of the main proposals is to guarantee access to a first-class education for the entire multidisciplinary community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the current global economic climate in mind, this year's theme \u2013 'Do more with less'<\/em>, \u2013 intends to make its voice known everywhere, since the main objective is to offer the best service to patients with limited resources. The event is aimed at all professionals working in imaging and radiation oncology, radiologists, technicians and medical physicists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Brazilian College of Radiology and Image Diagnosis (CBR) will be represented at the World Imaging Congress. The Doctor. Rubens Chojniack, 1st Vice President of the CBR and Dr. Gilberto Szarf, a member of the entity's Thorax Commission, will participate in lectures and activities of the Congress, together with representatives of organizations that represent radiologists from different parts of the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the first day of the event, February 24, Gilberto Zarf is part of the discussion panel \u201cKey lessons learned by radiology from the COVID-19 pandemic\u201d<\/em>, at 10:30 am (7:30 am, Brasilia time), with experts on the subject. On the 25th, at 9:30 am (6:30 am, Brasilia time), Rubens Chojniack will give the lecture \u201cCancer imaging in Brazil \u2014 cost and facilities<\/em>\u201d. It is important to note that the event schedule follows London (GB) time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
