The 52nd Brazilian Congress of Radiology and Imaging Diagnosis (CBR 23) took place on the 12th, 13th and 14th of October, at Windsor Oce\u00e2nico, in Barra da Tijuca (RJ). This was the 12th time that the wonderful city hosted the Brazilian Congress of Radiology and Imaging Diagnosis. During the three-day event, 3500 congressmen participated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10\/12 \u2013 Opening ceremony<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the opening ceremony of CBR 23, the Brazilian College of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging paid tribute. Dr. Adonis Manzella, Alexandra Monteiro and Dr. Dante Escuissato received a gold medal from the College as a tribute for their dedication to radiology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the medalists, Dr. Cibele Carvalho \u2013 President of the CBR and Dr. Ronaldo Baroni \u2013 Scientific Director of the CBR were honored.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Pablo Soffia from Chile and Dr. Val\u00e9rie Vilgrain from France received the title of Honorary Member from the College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also had a tribute In Memoriam <\/em>by doctors Lutero Marques de Oliveira and Paulo de Queiroz Borba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

13\/10 \u2013 I Running and walking<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CBR Run and Walk had the participation of approximately 100 delegates. The race winners were awarded on the following day of the activity (October 14), during the Marathon (MBR23), at the Innovation Arena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0The Ultrasonographic Arena was packed to watch the panel \u201cThyroid nodule: Mode B, Doppler<\/em> and artificial intelligence\u201d, taught by Dr. Cristina Chammas. The class took place at 10 am (Bras\u00edlia time), during the second day of the event.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

14\/10 \u2013 MBR 23<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The congressmen met at the Innovation Arena, where the Marathon took place. The best placed teams in the first stage (which took place on October 12th and 13th) responded live to the cases presented. The winning teams in each category received incredible prizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every day \u2013 Exhibition 75 years of CBR<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our beautiful exhibition on the 75 years of CBR had images of all the College's presidents, historical photos, a map of Brazil with all the states that have hosted the Brazilian Congress of Radiology and Imaging Diagnosis and much more. The exhibition was located in the 2nd basement of Windsor Oce\u00e2nico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
