The board of directors of the Brazilian College of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging (CBR) were present on the first day of ECR 2024 (February 28). Several activities marked this first day of the event, check them out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CBR was represented by Dr. Cibele Carvalho \u2013 President, Dr. Ronaldo Baroni \u2013 Scientific Director, Dr. Maur\u00edcio Zapparoli \u2013 Director of International Relations and Dr. Juliana Tapaj\u00f3s \u2013 Director of Professional Defense, in addition to the presence of former presidents: Dr. Valdair Muglia and Dr. Alair Sarmet Santos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

CBR representatives met with Drs. Val\u00e9rie Vilgraine and Yasmeen Arnous, both from ESOR, to reinforce the partnership of more than a decade between the institutions. During the meeting, topics relevant to Brazilian Radiology were discussed, such as: the next edition of the ESOR course and exchange of experiences between Brazilian and European radiologists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Still on this first day of ECR 2024, the College's delegation was present at the Opening Ceremony. At this time, the former president of the CBR (2019-2020), Dr. Alair Sarmet Santos received a tribute as an honorary member, offered by the European Society of Radiology (ESR). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Congratulations, Dr. Alair Sarmet for the well-deserved recognition!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the points already mentioned, the delegation was also present at our stand, with the aim of welcoming the Brazilian radiological community, and making networking <\/em>with other international societies and radiologists. It is worth mentioning that the board will be present on every day of the ECR. Our stand is located at Society Booths<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About ECR<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The European Congress of Radiology (ECR) is an international meeting and one of the main events in radiology, as well as being one of the largest medical meetings in Europe and the second largest radiological meeting in the world. ECR participants span all areas of the radiology field, including radiology professionals, radiologists, physicists, industry representatives and press reporters for both the medical and consumer press.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
