Participating on behalf of the CBR were Dr. Cibele Carvalho \u2013 President, Dr. Rubens Chojniak \u2013 1st Vice-President, Dr. Linei Urban \u2013 Cultural Director and Dr. Bernardo Tessarollo \u2013 1st Secretary and on behalf of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Jos\u00e9 Barreto Carvalheira \u2013 General Coordinator of the National Policy for Cancer Prevention and Control \u2013 CGCAN subordinate to the SAES\/MS Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cbr.org.br\/en\/inscricoes-abertas-para-a-avaliacao-anual-de-residentes-aperfeicoandos-2025\/\"><strong>+Read more: Applications open for the Annual Assessment of Residents and Internship Students 2025<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting was scheduled at the request of Senator Hiran Gon\u00e7alves \u2013 President of FPMED, following a request from the CBR to the Parliamentary Front for Medicine. The College presented three agendas:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Expanding access to mammography exams for SUS patients;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Expanding the age range for breast cancer screening, given the concern about the increase in the number of women with breast cancer under the age of 50;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Development of strategies to reduce waiting time for treatment to begin.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stay on top of CBR&#039;s social networks, follow us on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/cbr_radiologia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Instagram\u00a0<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/CBRadiologia\/?locale=pt_BR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Facebook<\/a>\u00a0It is\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/br.linkedin.com\/company\/colegiobrasileiroderadiologiaediagn%C3%B3sticoporimagem\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LinkedIn<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CBR has made itself available to the Ministry of Health to collaborate through joint actions. FPMED will monitor the process and take initiatives to optimize it.
