The event, one of the most anticipated on Saturday&#039;s (September 20th) schedule, brought together competitors and congress participants in the Innovation Arena. Seven pairs participated in the marathon: Inominados, HMV, Tico e Teco, Dose Dupla, Dantarolis, As Radiosas, and UFSCATS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After five rounds of time-limited questions, involving analysis of radiological exam images and curiosities about series, the duo &#039;As Radiosas&#039;, formed by residents of the Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, Lav\u00ednia Ferreira Dias and Margrit Elis M\u00fcller, won the highest place on the podium, with 140 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a prize, the duo won air tickets and accommodation for the 55th Brazilian Congress of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging (CBR26), which will be held in Recife (PE), from September 17 to 19, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&quot;It was great to participate in the marathon. I&#039;d like to take this opportunity to thank the organizing committee and the CBR for this opportunity. We had fun and learned a lot from the cases, because the situations presented were quite difficult. It was a very rewarding experience,&quot; summarized Margrit, a second-year resident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For Lav\u00ednia, a third-year resident, the experience was also worthwhile. &quot;I found it an incredible and challenging experience, and at the same time, hilarious. The MBR is a way to learn and relax amidst so many lectures. I recommend that residents attending the next congress participate,&quot; advises Lav\u00ednia.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Second place was won by the duo Dantarolis (80 points) and third place was shared by the duos Tico e Teco and Dose Dupla, both with 70 points. Second place won two registrations each for the Update Course and third place, one ticket each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MBR25 was attended by the activity coordinator, Dr. Marcus Birelli, and doctors Fernando Morbeck, Bernardo Tessarollo and Dr. Carla Martins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Series \u2013 As a thematic block, the names of the series gained a \u201cradiological\u201d version: Games of Bowels, The Big Brain Theory, Breaking Breast and Bones and When Calls the Heart.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Brazilian Radiology Marathon (MBR25) tested the knowledge of participating residents during the 54th Brazilian Congress of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging (CBR 2025).
