CBR participates in ANVISA meeting to review Ordinance 453/98

The Brazilian College of Radiology and Imaging Diagnosis, represented by the Director of Professional Defense, Dr. Cibele Alves de Carvalho, was, on September 19, at the public meeting to present and clarify the proposed regulation of the General Management of Technology in Health Services (GGTES) for diagnostic or interventional radiology services.

The meeting took place in Brasília, at the Anvisa Auditorium, with an extensive program, with issues from all areas of radiology being addressed, as well as issues of responsibility for the services.

The participation of Dr. Cibele allowed the opinions of radiologists, aiming at a correct and safe diagnosis, to be heard by the national body responsible for standardizing radiological services.

As a representative institution of Brazilian Radiology, the CBR will remain focused on its role as one of the main protagonists in the process of revising Ordinance 453/98.
