The Current Affairs Course of the Colegio Interamericano de Radiología (CIR) reaches its sixth edition in 2019. The objective is to renew the commitment of the institution, currently chaired by Dr. Henrique Carrete Junior, former president of CBR, in favor of knowledge, providing important discussions involving new technologies and the main advances related to the specialty.
Highlights in this year's program, the Abdome module will be organized together with the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), under the coordination of Dr. Jorge Soto.
The Mama module, in partnership with Society of Breast Imaging (SBI), will receive renowned names in the specialty. They are: Dr. Christopher Comstock, Dr. Michael Linver, Dr. Sara Friedewald, Dr. Rita Zuley and Dr. Janice S. Sunguei.
This last module will be conducted entirely in English, with simultaneous translation into Spanish.
The program will also feature classes in the Thorax and Musculoskeletal specialties.
The Current Affairs Course will be held in Cancún, Mexico, from June 20th to 22nd, Corpus Christi holiday in Brazil. This is a great opportunity for the participant to take the family, plan to extend the trip a little and enjoy the region.
