1st International Symposium of Aliança Cavernoma Brasil will take place in August

Aliança Cavernoma Brasil – ACBra, an institution governed by private law, in the form of a non-profit and non-profit civil association, with the purpose of supporting studies, research, development of alternative technologies, production and dissemination of information and technical and scientific knowledge related to Cerebral Cavernous Malformation (CCM), also known as Cavernoma, Cerebral Cavernoma, Cavernous Angioma or Cavernous Hemangioma, will hold the 1st International Symposium of Aliança Cavernoma Brasil.

The event, which will take place on August 12th, in Rio de Janeiro, will be attended by neurologists and neurosurgeons, and will focus on updating current knowledge of the disease and on the development of clinical studies, as well as careful discussion with neurosurgeons. , experienced in treating the disease, for the construction and standardization of reference centers. Such centers will be suggested to patients who contact Aliança Cavernoma in search of guidance on treating the disease in different regions of Brazil.

According to information available on the event's website, even with few resources available and the excellence of the national and foreign guests who will be present, the ACBra management team decided that patients with cavernoma and their families will be exempt from registration, being charged the amount of R$100, 00 for doctors and R$50.00 for students and residents.
