Meeting at AMB discusses CBHPM and other topics of interest to radiologists and diagnostic imaging

Last Friday, March 6, CBR Director of Professional Defense, Dr. Cibele Alves de Carvalho, together with the economic advisor of the College, Carlos Moura, were at the headquarters of the Brazilian Medical Association for a meeting with Dr. Miyuki Goto, AMB technical consultant. The agenda was CBHPM, TUSS, inclusion of new procedures, valuation and ANS List.

The College is routinely holding meetings like this one to align strategies in relation to CBHPM, as specialty societies often make suggestions for the inclusion of new procedures or the removal of those that are no longer used. Valuation change can also be requested.

“We went to talk about new insertions of procedures, and how to align this from an agenda point of view, as the CBHPM has a specific agenda for this topic. We discussed the new procedures that we understand, we talked about the Rol. The CBR monitors all the Guidelines for use for the various procedures, which are demanded by the ANS, so that there is no restriction on care”, warns Dr. Cybele.

In addition, the meeting served to align with the AMB the important meetings for the participation of the CBR during the year 2020.
