It was with great regret that the Brazilian College of Radiology and Image Diagnosis (CBR) received the news of the death of Dr. Miguel Callil Issa.
He graduated from the former Faculdade Nacional de Medicina do RJ; he was head of Radiology at Hospital dos Servidores do Estado do RJ and of Radiology at Hospital Souza Aguiar. Worked at Dr. Felipe Mattoso, at the Miguel Couto Hospital, at the FESO Hospital in Teresópolis, in the mountainous region of Rio de Janeiro, among other hospitals and clinics, in addition to having taught at the Faculty of Medicine of Campos dos Goytacazes.
He was 82 years old and was working until the last day before being admitted. doctor Miguel, who was a redeemed CBR member, died on December 26 from complications caused by COVID-19.
The CBR, on behalf of Brazilian Radiology, expresses solidarity and its most sincere condolences to the family of Dr. Miguel.
