The second phase of the 2023 Specialist Title and Certificate of Practice Test took place on July 8 and 9, at the Institute of Radiology at Hospital das Clínicas (InRad), located in the city of São Paulo (SP). In all, 502 candidates participated in the evaluations and only eight did not attend.
Candidates approved in the first phase of the test were submitted to theoretical-practical and practical assessments on devices. The announcement of the classifieds in the Practical Test will take place on July 31st and will be available in the 'candidate access'.
The areas of action evaluated were:
• Bone densitometry;
• Vascular ultrasound with Doppler;
• Mammography;
• Diagnostic Neuroradiology;
• Therapeutic Neuroradiology;
• Ultrasonography in Gynecology and Obstetrics.

Evaluated subspecialties:
• Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging;
• Interventional Radiology and Angioradiology;
• General Ultrasound.
The Titles of Specialist and Certificates in the Area of Expertise are made up and are the exclusive competence of the Associação Médica Brasileira (AMB). The request for making must be made with the specialty society, according to the guidelines present in the public notice of each tender. The deadline for receipt is 30 to 45 days, counting from the payment of the bill.
