The 2025 Annual Assessment of Residents and Trainees took place online on February 2, starting at 9 am (Brasília time). All residents in training during 2024 were able to participate in the assessment. In total, 1,079 residents participated in this stage. The duration and number of questions on the test were different for each residency level.

Residents in level 1 (R1/A1) had two hours to answer 50 multiple-choice questions. Residents in level 2 (R2/A2) had to answer 75 questions in a period of up to three hours. And members of level 3 (R3/A3) had three hours and thirty minutes to answer 100 questions.

The duration of the assessment for the General Ultrasound trainees was two hours and thirty minutes, with trainees at level 1 (A1) answering 30 multiple-choice questions, with five alternatives each. Trainees at level 2 had the same amount of time to complete the test, but answered more questions (40).

The answer key and test booklet were released on the CBR website the day after the assessments (February 3), and residents and trainees were able to appeal between February 3 and 4. The results of the appeals will be released on February 28, the same day that the participant's final performance will be released. To access the performance, simply enter the member's area on the CBR website.
