The Brazilian College of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging (CBR) was present at the 55th São Paulo Radiology Conference (JPR2025), organized by the São Paulo Radiology Society (SPR). The event took place from May 1st to 4th at the Transamérica Expo Center in São Paulo (SP). During the four days, the CBR had an active presence at the Conference, where it was present with its traditional stand and two panel presentations (PADI and ABCDI).

On the first day of the event (May 1st), the Brazilian Association of Diagnostic Imaging Clinics (ABCDI) presented a panel at 9 am (Brasília time) in room G. The panelists were Drs. Ricardo Rocha – Director of ABCDI, Marcelo Lauar – Director of Professional Defense at CBR, Valério Ribeiro – Legal Advisor at CBR, Renato Adam Mendonça – Director of Institutional Representation at SPR and Carlos Moura – Economic Advisor at CBR. The topics covered were: “Strategies and how public civil actions work”, “New CBR reporting channel – Change in the relationship between CBR and healthcare providers” and “Refresher course – CBR/ABCDI refresher course”

On the second day of the event, the PADI panel was a great success, with the main theme being “The role of PADI as an agent of transformation in Brazilian Radiology” and was attended by more than 100 visitors. The agenda included several subtopics, such as: “Clinical Governance in Radiology”, “Main Errors and Proposals for Improving the Quality of Radiology Exams in Brazil”, “Technological Innovations and the Impact on Patient Safety in Radiology” among others. The afternoon was full of learning and knowledge sharing. The PADI coordinator, doctor Adriano Tachibana commented on the activity: “This panel has established itself as a fundamental space to discuss strategic issues, share practical experiences and present solutions that truly transform diagnostic imaging services in the country..”

To end the JPR with a flourish, on the last day of the event, the CBR held two meetings, namely: “CBR Board of Directors and Advisory Board Meeting” and the “CBR Board of Directors and Advisory Board Meeting”. The current overview of the CBR, legal reports, professional and legal defense, scientific committee and various subjects were presented.
