A National Mammography Commission (CNM/CBR) is a technical-scientific instance of Brazilian College of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging (CBR), with strategic action in the evaluation, construction, preparation and issuance of technical opinions and in the continuous improvement of diagnostic imaging services throughout the country.
With over 30 years of existence, the CNM is made up of specialists with extensive experience in the field, responsible for proposing guidelines, promoting good practices and contributing to the formulation of public policies aimed at the early detection of breast cancer, in alignment with the highest international standards.
Among its main responsibilities are the preparation of technical opinions, active participation in regulatory discussions and collaboration with national and international entities focused on women's health.
