The Annual Evaluation of Residents and Trainees 2026 was held on January 25th at 1 PM (Brasilia-DF time), in a format... onlineAll residents in training during the year 2025 were eligible to participate in the assessment. In total, 1139 residents participated in this edition. The duration and number of questions on the exam varied for each residency level.

Residents in level 1 (R1/A1) had two hours to answer 50 multiple-choice questions. Residents in level 2 (R2/A2) had to answer 75 questions in a period of up to three hours. And members of level 3 (R3/A3) had three hours and thirty minutes to answer 100 questions.

The assessment time for trainees in General Ultrasound was two hours and thirty minutes, with trainees at level 1 (A1) answering 30 multiple-choice questions, each with five alternatives. Trainees at level 2 had the same exam time, but answered 40 questions.
The day after the assessments were conducted (January 26th), the answer key and test booklet were released on the CBR website. Residents and trainees were able to submit appeals between January 26th and 27th. The results of the appeals were released on January 27th.
