The Inter-American College of Radiology (CIR) will hold the first course of its Continuing Medical Education Program in September 2026. The theme will be... “"Imaging in Lung Cancer"”, The activity will be coordinated by Dr. Fernando Gutiérrez and will bring together specialists to discuss the main advances and applications of imaging in the diagnosis, staging, and monitoring of this important neoplasm. The course will be taught in Spanish.
This initiative is part of CIR's commitment to the scientific updating and professional development of radiologists and diagnostic imaging specialists in the region.
The program was developed to offer evidence-based updates and contribute to strengthening radiological practice in the management of lung cancer, one of the oncological diseases with the greatest impact on public health worldwide.
The CIR highlights the importance of participation from professionals affiliated with national radiology societies, noting that members of the Brazilian College of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging (CBR) are also CIR members and, therefore, have access to special registration conditions for activities promoted by the organization.
CBR reiterates its invitation to its members to participate in the activity and take advantage of this opportunity for continuing education and international scientific exchange.
