This international event is dedicated to Musculoskeletal Radiology (MSK), marking the 1st Meeting of Portuguese Section of Musculoskeletal Radiology (SPORME). The congress will take place between November 5th and 7th, 2026, at the W Algarve Hotel, in Albufeira, Portugal.
Dr. Bruna Sarolli will be part of the event's faculty as a tutor in... Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Workshop. The workshop, held on November 5th, is already fully booked. Limited to 30 participants distributed across six practical stations, the format was designed to ensure an appropriate ratio between instructors and participants. The program includes lectures on the hip, knee, ankle, and foot, followed by live demonstrations and hands-on training on anatomical models.
Musculoskeletal radiology is one of the fastest-growing subspecialties within diagnostic radiology, driven by population aging, the increase in rheumatic and orthopedic diseases, and the technological evolution of imaging equipment. For SPORME, the meeting also represents a milestone: its first scientific event since the section's establishment, consolidating its role in promoting excellence and continuing education in MSK radiology in Portugal. CBR's participation in the meeting reinforces the insertion of Brazilian radiology into the international scientific circuit and the relevance of institutional partnerships for the training of specialists.
