July 3, 2019 - Thiago Braga

There is still time: Registrations open for the Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging Forum will be held in July, in a partnership between CBR and CFM

The event, which will have the theme “Radiological Protection”, will take place on July 5 (Friday), in Brasília, at the Auditorium of the Federal Council of Medicine. It will be an important milestone on the subject, enabling discussion with the CFM on the optimized and justified use of ionizing radiation in imaging exams, in practically all areas. It will be a multidisciplinary discussion, with several representatives involved in the area.

This event highlights the important performance of CBR on the issue of safety in imaging exams, through the Radiological Protection Commission, created in this administration. The Commission integrates specialists from different areas, including radiologists, physicists, nuclear physicians and technologists to discuss the topic in a comprehensive way. The event will be of fundamental importance, discussing the main aspects of radioprotection with physicians from different areas.
