Residents/Fellow Trainees Level 1 and Level 4 Fellows must register for the training program with the Medical Residency Teaching and Improvement Commission (CEAR) and take advantage of the benefits offered by the CBR. Level 2 and 3 residents must re-register.

CEAR is responsible for ensuring the process of preparing Radiologists as specialists, promoting the certification of their diagnostic skills and their broad competencies to work in different areas and services.

The supervisor of medical residency/improvement programs finds assistance in this committee both in operational matters, directly related to standardization and minimum requirements, and in matters relating to students, such as the provision of standardization and minimum requirements for the operation of all improvement services.

Supervisors also find support in carrying out the validation of medical improvement and residency programs on the CEAR Portal, an important step for linking students previously registered with the CBR to the services, allowing access to benefits and discounts on CBR events, educational platforms available online, and registration for the annual serial evaluation exam.

The CBR reiterates that there will be no extension to the Accreditation and Reaccreditation deadline after April 30, 2026. If you have any questions, please contact the CBR via email at ensino@cbr.org.br.
