Cancun hosts CIR event: participate

The Inter-American College of Radiology (CIR), together with the European Society of Radiology (ESR) and the European School of Radiology (ESOR), invites Latin American radiologists to participate in the III Update Course in Radiology, which will take place in the heavenly Mexican city of Cancun, between 8 and 10 June. This year, the central theme will be Magnetic Resonance: state of the art.

The objective of the event is to update knowledge on the part of professionals in the area and also to discuss the most recent advances in diagnosis by magnetic resonance imaging. Updates on magnetic resonance imaging and diagnoses of various diseases will be presented, among other subjects.

The course will feature didactic lectures that will complement interactive case discussion sessions on the latest developments and specific strategies for various organ systems, including abdomen and genitourinary, musculoskeletal, neuroradiology, cardiac radiology, breast and also applications in the pediatric and fetal areas.

It is worth noting that renowned radiologists from 14 countries will participate in this activity – Spain, Holland, France, Chile, Argentina, Mexico, Austria, Turkey, Colombia, Greece, Puerto Rico, Canada, Belgium and Italy – as well as two Brazilians: Doctors Manoel de Souza Rocha, president of the Brazilian College of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging (CBR), and Marcelo Rodrigues de Abreu. Also present will be Dr. Henrique Carrete Junior, former president of CBR and president-elect of CIR.

CBR invites all its associates to participate in the III Update Course in Radiology, as this will be an excellent opportunity to get to know CIR around a program of scientific excellence and immersed in a professional and, at the same time, very friendly atmosphere.
