The 3rd General Medicine Congress of the Brazilian Medical Association (AMB) took place from July 24th to 26th in the Anhembi District of São Paulo, SP. As in previous editions, the Brazilian College of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging (CBR) was present at the event, both in the scientific program and with a booth to assist members. It is worth noting that the CBR is one of the 55 Specialty Societies affiliated with the AMB.
Representatives from the College were part of the event's scientific program, including Dr. Rubens Chojniak, President of the CBR, and Dr. Fernando Morbeck, 2nd Secretary of the CBR. The College president coordinated the Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging Roundtables. Dr. Fernando Morbeck, a speaker, presented on "Diagnostic Imaging in Prostate Cancer Screening" and "Radiology Imaging in Urinary Stones." He also coordinated the Nephrology, Radiology, and Urology Roundtable.
About the event
The 3rd AMB General Medicine Congress is the only event in Brazil dedicated exclusively to the training and updating of general practitioners. During three days of intense immersion, participants had access to over 100 hours of content, including classes, courses, and hands-on and discussions of clinical cases in 55 medical specialties.
