It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dr. José Roberto Leonel Ferreira – Full Member of the CBR.
Owner of the Dr. Leonel Ferreira Imaging Center, opened 27 years ago in Cascavel, he was among the 62 occupants of the Voepass plane that crashed on Friday afternoon in Vinhedo (SP).
Dr. Leonel was a Radiologist with a residency at the Hospital do Servidor Público in São Paulo; a full member of the CBR; a Master in Biomedical Engineering from the Federal Technological University of Paraná; and an Assistant Professor of the Medicine Course and Medical Residency at Unioeste - PR.
CBR sympathizes and wishes family and friends a lot of strength at this time.
