The CBR-ESOR Scholarship Program, a partnership between the Brazilian College of Radiology and the European School of Radiology, which has the support of Bayer, includes the three winners with scholarships in Europe

The three residents awarded the ESOR-CBR 2025 Scholarship Program received their certificates on August 20, 2025, in an in-person ceremony held at Bayer SA in São Paulo, São Paulo. Present at the ceremony were Dr. Rubens Chojniak – President; Dr. Maurício Zapparoli – Scientific Director; and Dr. Ronaldo Baroni – Director of International Relations. On behalf of Bayer, a supporter of the program, Dr. Daniela Pupo, Bayer's medical manager of radiology, presented the scholarships. The winners of the scholarships offered by the European School of Radiology (ESOR) were Doctors Felipe de Lucena Franceschini, João Sakuray Pais, and Dr. Isadora Balderama Canedo.

To be selected for the fellowship in Europe, the doctors had to go through a selection process initially determined by their scores in the 2025 Annual Resident and Fellow Evaluation, in addition to undergoing a curriculum review conducted entirely by ESOR. The winners will have the opportunity to attend a highly qualified residency program in Europe, recommended by ESOR and in their chosen subspecialty. The winners will receive R$1,400,000 from Bayer to cover their travel, accommodation, food, and health insurance expenses, as the training will be provided free of charge.
