Dr. Cibele Carvalho - President of the Brazilian College of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging (CBR) participated in the 56th Brazilian Congress of Clinical Pathology organized by the Brazilian Society of Clinical Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (SBPC/ML), which took place from September 10 to 13, 2024 at the Salvador Convention Center.
During the congress, Dr. Cibele met with Dr. Fábio Sodré – President of the 56th SBPC/ML Congress and with Dr. Álvaro Pulchinelli Júnior – President of SBPC/ML to discuss and formulate strategies to strengthen SADT and value the specialties that are essential in accurate diagnosis with a high rate of reduction in morbidity and mortality of the population.
Finally, Dr. Cibele Carvalho met with Dr. Wilson Scholnik, former president of SBPC/ML and ABRAMED and current director of institutional relations at SBPC/ML. Dr. Wilson is a strong advocate for the valorization of medical practice in SADT and has extensive experience and contributed to the construction of the PADI (Imaging Diagnostic Accreditation Program) of CBR and the PALC (Clinical Laboratory Accreditation Program) of SBPC/ML.
