The Brazilian College of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging is a national entity that officially represents the specialty in Brazil by bringing together doctors specializing in Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging and those who use one of the CBR methods as a secondary activity.

Part of the Scientific Department of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging of the Brazilian Medical Association (AMB), it is a non-profit educational, scientific, cultural and social civil association. Together with AMB, it awards specialist titles and certificates of practice through annual assessments, making it necessary for professionals to prove their theoretical and practical knowledge, thus enabling a higher level of excellence for Radiology in Brazil. . The College's associate physicians perform diagnostic and treatment activities using one or more of the following methods:

Represent and defend the specialty and doctors working in Radiology and Diagnostic and Therapeutic Imaging, bringing together the affiliates for a uniform performance, in order to deliver services that add value to professional life, aiming for quality care with safety for the patient.
