The Brazilian College of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging (CBR) announces the exceptional, gradual, and regulated reopening of places for Advanced Training Programs in Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging (RDI). The process had been suspended since 2018.
In this initial phase, they will be redistributed. 35 vacancies Remnants of inactive or disaccredited systems. The main objective is to promote regional balance and expand access to specialized training in regions with lower supply, using the "Atlas of Radiology in Brazil - 2025" as a basis.
Who can participate?
- New accreditations: Well-structured services that meet CBR regulations (limit of up to 2 slots per service).
- Increase in job openings: Programs that are already accredited, in good standing, and have an A, B, or C rating in the 2025 Services Ranking (limit of up to 2 slots per service).
Selection Process Schedule:
- Registration: July 15th to August 15th, 2026 (via the official CBR platform)
- Announcement of approved candidates: 18/09/2026
- Deadline for appeals: September 21st to September 23rd, 2026
- Final result (after appeals): 16/10/2026
Interested programs should submit the standard form electronically through the CEAR Portal (https://cear.cbr.org.br/Login), updated pedagogical project, structural documentation and care indicators.
