On November 7th, the National Supplementary Health Agency (ANS) released its new list, a new list of procedures that must be covered by health plans as of January 2nd, 2018. In total, 18 procedures were performed. added, among exams, therapies and surgeries. Below is a list of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging procedures and changes in Technical Use Guidelines (DUTs): - Arterial magnetic resonance angiography of the lower limb (with DUT): non-invasive imaging exam performed in magnetic resonance equipment for analysis of lower limb arteries; - Arterial computed tomography angiography of the lower limb (with DUT): non-invasive imaging exam performed using computed tomography to analyze the arteries of the lower limbs; - Ultrasonic liver elastography (with DUT): imaging test for the diagnosis of liver fibrosis; - Magnetic resonance imaging with CSF flow (with DUT): non-invasive diagnostic test to assess cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) flow; - Percutaneous radiofrequency ablation for the treatment of osteoid osteoma: a procedure guided by imaging methods that uses special needles to cause cell damage by thermal action to benign bone tumor cells.   Expansion of coverage with change in DUT - Oncological PET/CT with somatostatin analogues for patients with neuroendocrine tumors; - Optical coherence tomography (with guidelines for use) in patients undergoing ocular chemotherapy treatment with diabetic retinopathy, central retinal vein occlusion (CVO) and branch retinal vein occlusion (CRVO).   Inclusion of DUT restricting coverage - Cerebral perfusion scintigraphy for evaluation of dopamine transporters – DUT (When used for evaluation of dopamine transporters, it will have mandatory coverage for adult patients with tremors when Parkinsonism cannot be clinically differentiated from essential tremor after evaluation by a medical professional specialized in neurology) .   Source: ANS
