An important initiative of the Brazilian College of Radiology and Imaging Diagnosis (CBR), the “CBR Visiting Professor” Program, which was launched in September, during the entity's 70th anniversary celebrations, already has 10 professors registered.
The objective of the program is to promote the exchange of knowledge and experiences from the visit of a professor to educational activities in residency and improvement programs throughout Brazil.
With this initiative, CBR reinforces its commitment to the training of radiologists, which will result in better assistance to the population throughout the country.
To participate, radiologists interested in becoming a “CBR Visiting Professor” must submit their application, which will be analyzed by a specific commission. If approved, he will become part of a bank of professors. It is important to remember that to apply for “Visiting Professor CBR” the radiologist must be a member of the College.
Interested residency and improvement programs must complete their registration, while affiliated societies will endorse, together with the CBR, the candidacy of the residency and improvement program. The CBR will then analyze in its bank of professors which professional is the most suitable, acting as an intermediary between the affiliated society, the residency and improvement program and the professor.
