Registration open for the XIX Latin American Congress of Ultrasound. Participate!

The event of the Latin American Federation of Ultrasound Societies (Flaus), which has the support of the Brazilian College of Radiology and Image Diagnosis (CBR) and whose president is Dr. Antonio Carlos Matteoni de Athayde, former president of the College, will take place on July 12th and 13th, in Salvador (BA), at the Fiesta Bahia Hotel.

With a rich scientific program, the congress will bring together around 80 professors, 50 of whom are foreigners. The entity expects to receive an audience of approximately 600 people, including radiologists and ultrasonographers, residents and medical students.

The topics chosen include Hepatic Elastography, Ultrasonography of chronic parenchymal liver disease, Ultrasound of acute cholecystitis, Ultrasound of chromosomal disorders, Ultrasound of restricted intrauterine growth, Ultrasound of the placenta, Musculoskeletal ultrasound, Thyroid ultrasound, among others.

“We seek to carry out a scientific program capable of covering all areas of Ultrasound. We will have more than 100 classes, in addition to the 16 hands-on courses that will take place during the two days of the congress”, emphasizes Dr. Matteoni.

One of the highlights in the Hands On category will be the course promoted by Dr. Maria Cristina Chammas, in the Thyroid and Cervical area.
