The event of the Latin American Federation of Ultrasound Societies (Flaus), which has the support of the Brazilian College of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging (CBR) and whose president is Dr. Antonio Carlos Matteoni de Athayde, former president of the College, will take place on July 12 and 13, in Salvador (BA), at the Fiesta Bahia Hotel.

With rich scientific programming, the congress will bring together about 80 teachers, 50 of them foreigners. The organization expects to receive an audience of approximately 600 people, including radiologists and ultrasonographers, residents and medical students.
The topics chosen include Liver Elastography, Ultrasound of Chronic Parenchymal Liver Disease, Ultrasound of Acute Cholecystitis, Chromosomal Ultrasonography, Restricted Intrauterine Growth Ultrasonography, Placental Ultrasound, Musculoskeletal Ultrasound, Thyroid Ultrasound, Other Thyroid.
“We seek to carry out a scientific program capable of covering all areas of ultrasound. We will have more than 100 classes, in addition to the 16 hands-on courses that will take place during the two days of the congress, ”says Dr. Matteoni.
One of the highlights in the Hands On category will be the course promoted by Dr. Maria Cristina Chammas, in the area of Thyroid and Cervical.
