The first time that the Brazilian College of Radiology and Image Diagnosis (CBR) held the test to obtain the Specialist Title at its congress was in 2017, which took place in Curitiba (PR). Candidates approved the initiative and, this year, the test will take place again in the pre-congress, this time in Fortaleza (CE).
Last year, held in Rio de Janeiro, there were 446 applicants for the theoretical and theoretical-practical exams in Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging. The General Ultrasound test, which also had a practical test on a device, had 173 candidates.
According to Dr. Túlio Macedo, coordinator of CBR's Title and Admission Commission, the differential of the Title Test held in October is that it is itinerant. “This test is an opportunity that the CBR grants to the radiological class for people who could not take it in the first semester or who were not classified”, he emphasizes.
The Specialist Title Test held in October is the result of a public consultation in which people showed interest and approval. Thus, in addition to assisting them, the fact that it is held in October provides candidates with the opportunity to participate in the Brazilian Congress of Radiology, a traditional event for the specialty.
This year registrations have been extended and can be made until next Friday, August 30th.
