More than 1,100 participate in the Annual Assessment of Residents and Graduates

On the last January 29th, CBR held the 2023 Annual Resident and Improvement Assessment exam. The exam was attended by more than 1,100 residents in training during the year 2022. The assessment was carried out in the 100% online format.

The main objective is to evaluate students in categories R1, R2, R3 and A1 and A2. Therefore, the test questions are appropriate according to the residency level.

On that occasion, residents are encouraged to achieve the best possible performance, since an average of more than 70% in the three annual assessments guarantees exemption from the theoretical assessment of the Specialist Title Test. The same orientation is valid for those who carry out training in General Ultrasonography: when reaching the required average, they are released only from the theoretical test to obtain the Title of Specialist in Diagnostic Imaging, with exclusive performance in General Ultrasonography.

Another important role of the exam is to signal what the test represents for Education, in the sense of revealing an overview of the teaching and learning system faced by students and teachers. In this way, the evaluation points out ways for each year to improve the medical residency programs in the different subspecialties of radiology.

The Annual Evaluation of Residents has been carried out for over 20 years, always in constant improvement and harmony in the education system.
