The Brazilian Medical Association (AMB) recently announced the update of the Operating Cost Unit present in the Brazilian Hierarchical Classification of Medical Procedures (CBHPM), which is an important reference in the Brazilian health market and also recognized by the supplementary health system for the creation of Terminology. Unified Supplementary Health (TUSS), in addition to being used as a requirement by ANS for incorporation into the Rol of procedures.
AMB concluded by adopting the INPC / IBGE for the period, which corresponds to the index of 1.63% to correct the referential values of medical services. Given this, this readjustment percentage can be adopted as a reference from October 2017 to the CBHPM in effect. The Operating Cost was established at: 1 UCO = R $ 19.69.
