On March 5, 2024, at the headquarters of the Federal Council of Medicine (CFM) in Brasília (DF), the Board of Directors of the Brazilian College of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging (CBR) met, represented by Dr. Cibele Carvalho – President; Dr. Rubens Chojniak – 1st Vice President; Dr. Hélio Braga – 2nd Vice-President; Dr. Juliana Tapajós – Professional Defense Directorate; Dr. Mayra Veloso - 2nd secretary; and Dr. Valério Ribeiro – legal counsel for the CBR and the CFM represented by Dr. José Hiran da Silva Gallo – President;
During the meeting, we reinforced CBR's commitment to the prerogatives in Defense of the Medical Act and the valorization of the Specialist Qualification Register (RQE).
We took advantage of the meeting to express our gratitude for all of CFM's support in defending ultrasound as a private activity for doctors.
