CBR and Bayer celebrate the recipients of the CBR-ESOR Scholarship Program 2026.

The Brazilian College of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging (CBR), in partnership with Bayer and the European School of Radiology (ESOR), awarded the physicians recognized for... CBR-ESOR Scholarship Program 2026, an initiative that promotes the professional development of young Brazilian radiologists through learning experiences in renowned European centers of excellence.

The program aims to boost the training of new specialists, providing the opportunity to deepen their knowledge, follow internationally recognized best practices, and expand scientific exchange with leading professionals in the global field of radiology.

The official certificate presentation ceremony took place in August 6, 2026, at headquarters Bayer SA., in São Paulo (SP). On that occasion, the CBR was represented by doctor Rubens Chojniak, President of the College, the doctor Ronaldo Baroni, Director of International Relations, and the doctor Mauricio Zapparoli, Scientific Director.

From Bayer, the following participated: Daniella Pupo, Medical Manager of Radiology; Clara Macedo, Radiology Product Manager; Wendel Mendes, Leader of the Strategic Channel; and Luciano Schnoff, Indirect Account Manager.

The ceremony also included testimonials from former scholarship recipients João Sakuray Pais (Scholarship 2025), Felipe Franceschini (Scholarship 2025), and Renato Fujiki (Scholarship 2024), who shared their experiences and what they learned in the program.

This edition included:

  • Henrique Mesak Quintiliano, who will be doing an internship at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, in London, United Kingdom;
  • Letícia Helena Kaça do Carmo, who will be doing an internship at Marqués de Valdecilla University Hospital, in Santander, Spain;
  • Juliana Gonçalves Silveira, who will be doing an internship at Erasmus University Medical Center, in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

The awarding of recognition to Dr. Juliana Gonçalves Silveira what happened later, during the 33rd Gaucho Radiology Conference (JGR 2026), held on the days August 14th and 15th, in Porto Alegre (RS). On that occasion, the doctor received the award from the president of the CBR, doctor Rubens Chojniak, at a time that highlighted the importance of continuing education and the internationalization of Brazilian radiology.

By providing opportunities to experience life in world-renowned institutions, the CBR-ESOR Scholarship It strengthens the qualifications of Brazilian professionals and contributes to the incorporation of new knowledge and experiences into radiological practice in the country. The initiative reaffirms the CBR's commitment to excellence in medical training and to encouraging the development of new generations of radiologists.
