The Joint Parliamentary Front for Medicine – FPMed has held, in partnership with the Instituto Brasil de Medicina and affiliated entities, monthly meetings to discuss the main agendas of the medical movement and this was another important meeting, with the presence of about 10 federal deputies. The aim is to discuss guidelines such as TeleMedicine; Doctors for Brazil, with the current position of Revalida (a program to be launched by the Federal Government), as well as projects to change the Brazilian Traffic Code and its impacts, with the participation of the Associação Brasileira de Medicina do Tráfego (ABRAMET).
“As for the 'Doctors for Brazil' program, Deputy Hiran Gonçalves, president of FPMed, reinforced his recommendation on the participation of CFM and AMB in the discussions so that, based on this, a defense of the interests of doctors can be carried out”, explains Dr. Helio Braga.
After the meeting, the Deputies went to the Chamber of Deputies to vote on the emergency regime of Revalida for doctors.
