The CIR–FAARDIT–SORDIC 2026 Congress is one of the leading radiology and diagnostic imaging events in Latin America. This year's edition took place in Córdoba, Argentina, from June 4th to 6th, under the theme "Building Radiology Together".
The event featured lectures, courses, workshops, and conferences with prominent figures from various countries in the region. The President of the Brazilian College of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging (CBR), Dr. Rubens Chojniak, participated in the congress as a guest lecturer.
Presented as an international specialist in Oncoimaging/Abdomen, Dr. Rubens was part of the scientific program of CIR–FAARDIT–SORDIC 2026, contributing with his extensive clinical and academic experience.
The CBR was also represented by Dr. Henrique Carrete Jr., President during the two-year period (2013-2014) and President of the CIR during the two-year period (2018-2020), who was honored at the Congress and received the Gold Medal from the Inter-American College of Radiology.
