The Brazilian College of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging participated, on the 27th, in the AMB Professional Defense Council Meeting, which was attended by several Specialty Societies.
The defense of the Medical Act, the Hierarchical Brazilian Classification of Medical Procedures (CBHPM), the Normative Resolutions of the National Supplementary Health Agency (ANS), including Law 13,003, in addition to the new forms of remuneration were discussed.
After extensive discussion, it was decided to:
- Strengthening or even creation of Regional Commissions for Negotiating Medical Fees, in which representatives of the Regional Council of Medicine (CRM), Brazilian Medical Association (AMB) and the Physicians Union participate.
- Complaints to Specialty Societies and, subsequently, to the AMB, of contracts in disagreement with Law 13,003;
- Incentive and full support for the Institute of the Parliamentary Front for Medicine.
Regarding the new forms of remuneration, the CBR has participated in numerous ANS groups, including the specific SADT subgroup.
Professional Defense meetings will be held bimonthly, so that various strategies for valuing the medical profession and their respective action plans are defined.
