CBR18: Check out the preliminary scientific program on the congress website!

You can now consult the preliminary schedule of the 47th edition of CBR18 on the website and plan for this major event in Brazilian Radiology. This year the congress will take place at the Windsor Convention & Expo Center – Barra da Tijuca, in Rio de Janeiro, and several novelties have been prepared for congress participants. The subjects are divided by rooms and themes and soon the names of the speakers will also be available. Just login www.congressocbr.com.br and consult the “Programming” menu to check all the activities. In this edition of the congress, lectures will be divided into different areas of activity in Radiology, with the addition of activities related to Imaging in Pediatrics and interactive sessions. “Pediatric Radiology will have its participation spread across the different rooms without overlapping, that is, those interested in this specific area will be able to follow the lectures given and these will also take place in the different subspecialties”, explains Dr. Dante Escuissato, scientific director of CBR18. At CBR17, held in Curitiba, there was a room just for the interactive sessions. In this edition, these lectures will be distributed in different rooms, integrated to the different courses. The main objective of the change is to provide greater comfort to congressmen. In addition to the various activities in the model hands-on offered in the previous edition of the congress, this year the program will feature another practical activity, dealing with the application of PI-RADS (Prostate Imaging Reporting and Data System). Another activity that will take place especially in this edition is the Outreach Course, promoted in partnership with the International Skeletal Society (ISS), an interdisciplinary society dedicated to the learning, understanding, and teaching of musculoskeletal disorders. The theme will be on anatomopathological correlation of bone and soft tissue tumors. The CBR 2018 program will feature speakers in different areas in partnership with North American and European medical societies. In addition, there will be a module of works that will be presented in the form of Electronic Panels and Free Themes. Follow all the news on the congress website and on our social media!
