With robust scientific programming, CBR 23 is a total success in Rio de Janeiro
The 52nd Brazilian Congress of Radiology and Imaging Diagnosis (CBR 23) took place on the 12th, 13th and 14th of October, at Windsor Oceânico, in Barra da Tijuca (RJ). This was the 12th time that the wonderful city hosted the Brazilian Congress of Radiology and Imaging Diagnosis. During the three-day event, 3500 congressmen participated.

10/12 – Opening ceremony
During the opening ceremony of CBR 23, the Brazilian College of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging paid tribute. Dr. Adonis Manzella, Alexandra Monteiro and Dr. Dante Escuissato received a gold medal from the College as a tribute for their dedication to radiology.
In addition to the medalists, Dr. Cibele Carvalho – President of the CBR and Dr. Ronaldo Baroni – Scientific Director of the CBR were honored.
Dr. Pablo Soffia from Chile and Dr. Valérie Vilgrain from France received the title of Honorary Member from the College.
We also had a tribute In Memoriam by doctors Lutero Marques de Oliveira and Paulo de Queiroz Borba.
13/10 – I Running and walking
The CBR Run and Walk had the participation of approximately 100 delegates. The race winners were awarded on the following day of the activity (October 14), during the Marathon (MBR23), at the Innovation Arena.
The Ultrasonographic Arena was packed to watch the panel “Thyroid nodule: Mode B, Doppler and artificial intelligence”, taught by Dr. Cristina Chammas. The class took place at 10 am (Brasília time), during the second day of the event.
14/10 – MBR 23
The congressmen met at the Innovation Arena, where the Marathon took place. The best placed teams in the first stage (which took place on October 12th and 13th) responded live to the cases presented. The winning teams in each category received incredible prizes.
Every day – Exhibition 75 years of CBR
Our beautiful exhibition on the 75 years of CBR had images of all the College's presidents, historical photos, a map of Brazil with all the states that have hosted the Brazilian Congress of Radiology and Imaging Diagnosis and much more. The exhibition was located in the 2nd basement of Windsor Oceânico.
