The board of directors of the Brazilian College of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging (CBR) were present on the first day of ECR 2024 (February 28). Several activities marked this first day of the event, check them out.
The CBR was represented by Dr. Cibele Carvalho – President, Dr. Ronaldo Baroni – Scientific Director, Dr. Maurício Zapparoli – Director of International Relations and Dr. Juliana Tapajós – Director of Professional Defense, in addition to the presence of former presidents: Dr. Valdair Muglia and Dr. Alair Sarmet Santos.

CBR representatives met with Drs. Valérie Vilgraine and Yasmeen Arnous, both from ESOR, to reinforce the partnership of more than a decade between the institutions. During the meeting, topics relevant to Brazilian Radiology were discussed, such as: the next edition of the ESOR course and exchange of experiences between Brazilian and European radiologists.
Still on this first day of ECR 2024, the College's delegation was present at the Opening Ceremony. At this time, the former president of the CBR (2019-2020), Dr. Alair Sarmet Santos received a tribute as an honorary member, offered by the European Society of Radiology (ESR).

In addition to the points already mentioned, the delegation was also present at our stand, with the aim of welcoming the Brazilian radiological community, and making networking with other international societies and radiologists. It is worth mentioning that the board will be present on every day of the ECR. Our stand is located at Society Booths.
