Colombian Congress covers 13 areas

Logomarca do CCR 2017The beautiful and historic city of Cartagena, a world heritage site and one of the best destinations in the Caribbean, will host the 42nd Colombian Congress of Radiology (CCR), which will take place from August 3rd to 6th.

The venue for the event will be the city's Convention Center, which will also simultaneously host the 17th Congress of the Ibero-American Society of Interventionism.

Due to its high academic standards, organization and the growing international participation recorded in recent years, the CCR is currently considered one of the most important academic events of the specialty in all of Latin America. The Congress is promoted every year by the Colombian Association of Radiology (ACR), whose president is Dr. Juan Mauricio Lozano Barriga.

In this edition, there will be 13 areas that will have aspects presented, discussed and explained to all participants: Head and Neck; Doppler, Neuroradiology; Abdomen, Cardiovascular; Skeletal muscle; Oncology; emergencies; Genitourinary; Pediatrics; Chest; Breast; Neurointerventionism.
