Resolution RDC nº 611 issued by Anvisa (National Health Surveillance Agency) establishes the health requirements for the organization and operation of diagnostic or interventional radiology services and regulates the control of medical, occupational and public exposures resulting from the use of radiological technologies diagnostic or interventional.
The RDC is the subject of Regulatory Agenda 2021 - 2023: Project 1.2, which aims to deliberate processes for consolidating norms from ANVISA's regulatory stock to comply with Decree 10,139/2019, which "determines deadlines for the evaluation and consolidation of norms, with the possibility of improvements in the wording and form of normative acts, as well as in the simplification or exclusion of obsolete provisions".
