The Brazilian College of Radiology and Image Diagnosis (CBR) is open for registration for another edition of the AVR course, which will be held on May 21st and 28th, in Porto Alegre (RS), sponsored by Guerbet.
The course addresses recommendations on how to access the airways (mask and tube ventilation, orotracheal intubation and cricothyroidotomy); how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (external cardiac massage, electrical cardioversion and use of drugs during cardiac arrest) and how to proceed in situations where there is imminent risk to life.
In addition, it provides guidelines on the use of contrasts and protocol for the treatment of adverse reactions to contrast media.
The duration is 9.5 class hours, in a hybrid model, with theoretical classes 100% online, live, on May 21st; and on-site practical classes, on May 28, at the Plaza São Rafael Hotel, in the center of Porto Alegre. Approved physicians will receive a certificate at the end of the course.
